Jen was born in Bellingham, Washington but now lives in Kirkland. She entered the field of veterinary medicine by joining Northwest Animal Eye Specialists in March of 2005. She is the most experienced of our three receptionists and is a registered Veterinary Medication Clerk. If you have been to our practice, you have undoubtedly encountered Jen's smiling face and your dog has probably been greeted by her handing out dog biscuits. She has not been at the practice as much lately because she has been spending much of her time nannying Dr. Jones' twins. As of September 2010, she will be back at the practice full-time.

Jen has been married to John for 13 years. Their "kids" are a boxer mix named Makenzi and a wire-haired dachshund named Penny. Penny was donated to the hospital because of inherited cataracts. She is a very young dog but has already had cataract surgery on one of her eyes. Her surgery was a great success and vision is excellent.

Jen's interests away from work include spending time with her family, going out for coffee drinks, sports, and she is a scrapbooking fanatic!

Her favorite color is green. Her favorite food is chicken. And her favorite treat is Starbucks!!
