Ashley joined our team in late 2007 and has a lot of experience working in the veterinary field. For 5 years she worked in general practice, which included large, small, and exotic animals. Ashley also trained horses at an equestrian facility. She is majoring in Animal Science at Washington State University. Ashley's favorite part about working in the veterinary field is helping change an animal's quality of life for the better. She thinks everything in ophthalmology is interesting because she is still learning.

Ashley was both raised and is currently living in Bellevue, Washington. She is very close with her family and has two siblings, an older sister,and a younger brother. Her "kids" include Oliver, a male Lab/Great Dane mix who is 5 1/2 years old, Nubbs, a male cat who is 8 years old, and Emma, a female grey tabby cat who is 4 years old.

Growing up Ashley always had cats but waited 21 years to have her own dog. When she went to college she took her Thoroughbred Breezy with her!

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her "kids", riding horses, and camping. Ashley loves sweets and coffee.
