DR. VICTORIA JONES

    Dr. Jones

Dr. Jones (formerly Dr. Grevan) earned her veterinary degree in 1992 at the University of Illinois, where she graduated as the valedictorian of her class. She then completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Cornell University. From 1993-1997, Dr. Jones completed a comparative ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri. The residency was combined with a graduate program and in 1997, Dr. Jones received her Master of Science in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery for the study of diagnostic testing for feline herpesvirus. The same year, Dr. Jones passed her board examinations on the first attempt and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (DACVO).

Dr. Jones has been an author or co-author on several ophthalmology articles and has been the sole author of two book chapters in the field of veterinary ophthalmology. Her special interests within the field of veterinary ophthalmology include corneal and intraocular surgery and ocular manifestations of systemic disease.

On a more personal note, Dr. Victoria Jones is originally from the Chicago area. She practiced in West Palm Beach, Florida for 1.5 years before moving to Washington to start Northwest Animal Eye Specialists. Family is everything to her. Her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her kids and her pets. She has identical twin sons, Connor and Matthew, who were born in November of 2006. Her other "kids" include her two Australian Shepherds (sisters Maddie and Jilly) and her two cats (Ralph and Dipstick).
