Dr. Christina Sandberg
Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists
Originally from Minnesota, Dr.
Sandberg received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from
Northwestern University. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree
from the University of Minnesota and completed a Small Animal Medicine and
Surgery Internship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr.
Sandberg completed a three-year Residency in Veterinary Ophthalmology at
Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine while also earning a
Master of Science degree for her graduate project on vascular endothelial
growth factor. Outside of the practice, her main hobbies are hiking and
reading. She shares her home with one cat, a domestic shorthair named Tulip,
and an Italian Greyhound named Ramsey.
