Marissa is the newest member of our Northwest Animal Eye Specialists family. She joined our three other receptionists in late January 2008 and she says she "loves it". Her favorite part about working in the veterinary field is learning and spending her days around animals and animal medicine.

Marissa grew up and attended college in Ohio. She married her husband, Charles, in December 2006 and they moved to Washington in July 2007. Although Marissa has no human children, she adores her two furry friends: Maya Tinkerton ("Tink"), a Tabby that has traveled with her to Ohio and Florida and Sydney Fiddle, a Boston Terrier that is one crazy puppy!

Before joining our team, Marissa worked at Starbucks for two and a half years. (Coffee from Starbucks is her favorite treat!) In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her animals, running, writing, and shopping for Syd and Tink!
