WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT

Scheduling a non-urgent (next available) appointment can be done during your initial phone call. In the event that your pet requires more urgent care, we will initiate a triage process. This allows us to best determine how urgently your pet should be scheduled. Due to the high volume of patients requiring urgent care, we require veterinarian referral if you wish for your pet to be seen on an urgent-care basis. When you call to schedule an initial exam, we will ask you a few basic questions on your pet as well as what has been going on with your pet’s eye(s). We will then contact your referring veterinarian to get current records on your pet’s condition. Once we receive those records, we will review them and use them to determine urgency. Once this has been done, we will call you back and let you know when your pet should be scheduled. This process should take no more than 24 hours providing that there are no problems obtaining records.
